LP4 IPT LED Blockers Explained Off-Road LED & Laser Lights Automotive, Jeep, Truck, UTV, ADV, Dirtbike

baja design lp4

The LP4 is the smallest variant in the LP lineup but maintains all of the power and features of its siblings. The LP4 features a total of 8,750 lumens and a 200 degree spread of useable LED light. This light pumps out 7,050 forward projecting lumens and 1,700 lumens of dedicated peripheral lighting courtesy of our patented Integrated Peripheral Technology (IPT). To keep your light performing at its highest potential, the LP4 integrates our proprietary Direct Ducted Cooling (DDC) technology.

LP4 Light Pod Lens Kit - Universal

This feature allows air to travel through the front of the housing, over the rear heat sinks - drastically improving cooling capacity and performance. The addition of red, blue, or green backlight options alongside our original amber on the LP4 Pro gives enthusiasts the choice to customize their vehicle for shows, photo shoots or anywhere they want to bring attention. The LP4 IPT reflector covers from Baja Designs are engineered to cover the inner Integrated Peripheral Technology (IPT) LEDs on the LP4 Pro LED auxiliary light when used on the a-pillar mounting configuration.

Next Generation in LED Technology is Here

The IPTs of the LP4 have been designed to provide up to 200 degrees of spreadable light, and this additional spread of light spills onto the hood and reflects into the cab creating a ‘glaring’ effect on drivers. We have solved this issue for those who choose to mount the LP4 Pro in the a-pillar configuration with a plastic piece mounted to block glare inside the cab and hood, allowing enthusiasts to utilize the LP4 glare-free. The kit comes with two(2) IPT reflector covers and double stick adhesive for ease of mounting. Sitting flush with the light allows for a clean and elegant look that does not interfere with the original look of the light.

We have come up with a solution to better integrate the LP4 into an A-Pillar application and being the scientists of lighting we at Baja Designs want to explain how it works. "Love BD. Product is well made, and lights are bright. Packaging is great with extra work to conceal contents."

We have used everything from tape and zip ties to get bikes and race cars to the finish line; although it doesn’t look pretty, it gets the job done. After presenting my original purchase receipt, a new light bar was sent out and delivered in a very short time period. I am excited to get this mounted and look forward to many more years of service with BD lights. Designed for maximum spreadable light coverage on the trail, the ideal mounting application of the LP4 would be on the front bumper or roof. Although it was never designed to be used as an A-pillar mount light, we have noticed it becoming increasingly popular. There is one drawback, though, because the LP4 has integrated IPT LEDs that provide 200 degrees of spreadable light that spills onto the hood and reflects into the cab. However, there are a few workarounds, few people point them to the side, and some even just simply add tape to block the glare.

'Jungle Cruise' will debut in theaters and on Disney+ premier access

jungle cruise 2 release date 2023

However, this Disney movie has proven itself to be the exception to the rule. While some third-party analytics have released information on viewership based on number of minutes watched and viewers who have stuck with a program for at least two minutes, Disney has not shared what these films have garnered monetarily. Regardless of the direction "Jungle Cruise 2" goes in, viewers can look forward to another family-friendly adventure that puts the film's heroes in a perilous situation.

jungle cruise 2 release date 2023

THANK YOU and your families around the world for discovering and loving our film ~ in theaters and in your living rooms. And a HUGE MAHALO for making JUNGLE CRUISE cross that $100M mark at the US box office. With how great Jungle Cruise ended up turning out, it’s no surprise that he is expected to return.

Jungle Cruise 2 plot: What will Jungle Cruise 2 be about?

A born and raised New Yorker, she also loves coffee and the colour black, obviously. Given the sequel was only just announced, and Blunt and Johnson are already working on another film together, we're likely going to be waiting a while. Disney has used a similar tactic for "Mulan" and "Raya and the Last Dragon" and plans to use it for the debut of the upcoming films "Cruella" and "Black Widow." Jungle Cruise stars Emily Blunt and Dwayne Johnson in a thrilling adventure into the unknown. Jungle Cruise is probably nearing the end of its theatrical run, but you can still catch it on Disney Plus via Premier Access.

Is there a Jungle Cruise 2 trailer?

Jaume Collet-Sera is a director with a plethora of intriguing films in his catalogue, including the horror films House of Wax, Orphan, and The Shallows. He’s also been the director of some of the best Liam Neesen movies, such as Unknown, Non-Stop, Run All Night, and The Commuter. I found Johnson and Blunt’s chemistry very enjoyable in the adventure film and they worked well off of each other, so hearing that they’re going to be coming back together makes this fan very happy.

Jungle Cruise 2 Producer Says That Johnson And Blunt’s Characters Are Going To Have Fun, Exciting Stories In The Sequel

Currently, it is still in pre-production, but, most likely, the movie will be made available by July 14, 2023, or July 5, 2024. It could also be part of Disney's big holiday films, which means it may be released on Decemberber 15, 2023, or March 22, 2024, on the Easter timeframe. Another great piece of news is that both stars of the original film, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, are set to return in Jungle Cruise 2, as noted in The Hollywood Reporter article from earlier.

Will there be a Jungle Cruise 2? Latest speculation on sequel

In the meantime, let's take a look back at the epic Jungle Cruise adventure through the first film's official trailer below. The sequel is still in development, but we haven't heard any news that filming has begun. If filming begins in 2023 then we can expect the sequel in theaters at the end of 2024. Along with Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, director Jaume Collet-Serra and screenwriter Michael Green will be along for the cruise (yeah, sorry, but that was a lay-up, and I'm 30+, so the dad-jokes are real).

Welcome to the Jungle (2024 film)

Now Jungle Cruise 2 producer Hiram Garcia has provided an idea of how the next installment will be bigger than its predecessor. Now that the fans have embraced us and have been asking for a sequel, we really start to have fun! We've met these two characters who share amazing chemistry and the world is at our disposal. We're talking about a lot of big, fun concepts that take us to different places in the world. Who knows what mysteries and supernatural things these guys are going to encounter? I can't give anything away, but I can tell you we are bringing the whole team back.Through the first film, we formed great friendships and love and I think this will continue for the sequel.

Jungle Cruise 2 Producer Explains How The Sequel Will Be 'Much Bigger' Than The Original

jungle cruise 2 release date 2023

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jungle Cruise has raked in over $100 million since its theatrical premiere last month, so it's no surprise to hear Disney is keen on making a sequel. Returning alongside Johnson and Blunt are director Jaume Collet-Serra and screenwriter Michael Green, as well as a number of producers. Seriously, Dwayne Johnson can do no wrong and even has a high approval rate, should he ever run for president (this is not a joke). Also, The Rock is basically in any and all Jungle movies, so it was no surprise that Jungle Cruise fit his bill, would do well and is now green-lit for a sequel.

It seems that Collet-Sera has actually gotten along with Dwayne Johnson quite well, as he’s also directing the upcoming DC film, Black Adam, in which Dwayne Johnson also stars. There’s no word on Jack Whitehall returning as Lily’s brother, MacGregor, but he did express excitement for the sequel in a tweet, so we’re guessing that this may be a good sign. "Until we are towards the end of the pandemic and seating capacity gets back to 100% and people are fully comfortable returning to theatres we will likely see Disney have a simultaneous window."

As the "The Hollywood Reporter" notes, Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt are set to reprise their roles as Frank Wolff and Dr. Lily Houghton, respectively, for the next jungle-faring adventure. While his status for the sequel remains unconfirmed, British comedian Jack Whitehall could return as MacGregor, Lily's younger brother who — often against his better judgment — helps his sibling on her dangerous quests. Whitehall is a big name in the U.K, but "Jungle Cruise 2" is an ideal vehicle for continuing to solidify his presence in Hollywood.

'Jungle Cruise 2' is officially confirmed with the original cast returning. Jungle Cruise 2 is officially a go at Disney, with Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt returning to star in the sequel. After the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise generated five feature films and billions at the box office, Disney were undoubtedly hoping for a sequel to the similarly theme-parked inspired Jungle Cruise. There is an offshoot chance that Jungle Cruise will be the next Pirate of the Caribbean. Supposedly, only a stand-alone film, these two Disney movies' success has led them to add more sequels to their franchise. One of the producers of Jungle Cruise 2 sat down for an exclusive interview with Screenrant recently.

Critics have been less enamoured with the ride-based film, and we gave it three stars. It's unclear if the company will provide insight into how "Raya" fared on the streaming service or if it will share any other details on these types of releases in the future. Notably, the company released Pixar's "Soul" on Disney+ for free and then released it theatrically in countries that did not have access to the streaming service. Of course, the "Jungle Cruise" ride has a wealth of interesting characters, and the sequel could feature more of them.

Disney isn't the only studio experimenting with different releases in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. Warner Bros.' entire 2021 slate will debut on HBO Max and in theaters on the same day. Meanwhile, Universal and Paramount have struck deals with movie theater chains for shorter theatrical windows that allow the studios to place features on streaming earlier than in previous years. On Thursday, the studio said the film, which stars Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, will premiere in theaters and on Disney+ premier access on July 30.

The Best Time to Book a Cruise Save Money, Better Cabins

best season to cruise

This makes the island’s pace much more relaxed than the peak summer season, although you do have to remain flexible with your itinerary since September and October fall in hurricane season. Look for the best prices during the shoulder seasons, from September to November (spring) and from March to May (fall). By late spring, summer and fall, there are more festivals, sporting events and golf tournaments that bring visitors to the islands. In the summertime, you'll have family vacations and people with vacation homes in Bermuda returning for the season and warmer weather.

Hotels With Cruise Shuttles For Every Major Port in America

You'll want to book well in advance for an Alaska cruise between June and August, as itineraries tend to sell out quickly. Then, if you don’t see the deal you want over the holidays, go ahead and set up email alerts with the cruise lines so you don’t miss any deals starting in January. But whatever the reason, cruise lines tend to be extremely generous during wave season. It’s not uncommon to see 2-for-1 fares, heavily discounted fares (sometimes as high as 70%), free excursions, cabin upgrades and much more. For the uninitiated, wave season is when most of the major cruise lines run their best sales of the year. “Think of wave season as the best sale day ever that just happens to last for three months—like Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Presidents’ Day all rolled into one,” writes Celebrity Cruises.

November/December

Rainfall does not typically last all day, however; instead, it appears in short, strong bursts. Not only are holiday cruises more crowded, they see an increase in pricing, too. If you are cruising from Sydney, you may also want to be prepared for Australia Day, which occurs at the end of January, as this holiday draws large crowds to the city.

Best time to cruise Australia and New Zealand to avoid crowds

best season to cruise

However, the vast number of cruise lines plying the Caribbean Sea mean you can find a massive spread of cruises for almost every budget. You can often land deals if you travel during the early weeks of December and in the later spring, when weather is still mostly calm and dry. You can usually find the best prices for an Alaska cruise during the shoulder season months of April, May, September and October. For example, starting rates are as low as $603 per person for a seven-night Inside Passage cruise sailing round-trip from Seattle with Royal Caribbean in May 2024. However, by the peak summer season in late June and July, the starting price is $921 per person. Once you reach July, you are at the very peak of the Caribbean’s wet season, which means you can expect high temperatures, plenty of rain, and humidity levels that can be uncomfortable.

Cruises

best season to cruise

Busy vacation times like Christmas and spring break are in high demand, translating to higher prices. With plenty of land-based tourists during these weeks, there are more crowds and excursions can be more expensive. This is also the driest weather time of year, making it all the more appealing, and is great for outdoor activities – hiking, zip lining - and water-based activities like snorkeling and boating. Popular cruise islands such as St. Maarten have average high temperatures rise into the upper 80s Fahrenheit or more than 30 degrees Celsius. Many destinations experience a high point of tourism from December through February because of people fleeing the northern winters.

What About Sea Conditions in the Caribbean?

Be aware that spring break is high season for travel disruptions caused by peak demand. I was once bumped from a flight home after a spring cruise when a high school Spanish club from Wisconsin needed the seats to travel home together as a group. I was compensated and flew out the next day, but what if I had been bumped on my cruise embarkation day?

As stated in this article, always research the off-season for each cruise and destination. Cruise prices are also significantly lower and crowds are smaller in November. As long as you don’t mind the decreasing temperature, you can still have a relaxing and fun cruise trip. You can soak up on the beach on a French Riviera cruise or you can embark on a river cruise in Austria or Germany, gazing upon castles and cathedrals. The latter doesn’t require picture-perfect weather, making them perfect for the off-season.

Since adults and children are on Christmas vacation, many may decide to embark on a cruise during their break. You should also avoid cruises marketed as “holiday cruises.” They usually bring higher fares. If celebrating Christmas with the family isn’t appealing, many cruise lines offer December cruises. Since December brings blistering cold weather, it’s essential to choose a destination with beautiful year-round weather, such as Hawaii.

Best Time to Cruise Australia: November - March

Bermuda cruises sail from April through mid-November, mostly during Bermuda's beach season. Bahamas weather in April starts to warm up and is still part of the high season. Spring break crowds should slow down toward the end of the month, and you can enjoy quieter beaches and water sports. In April, the average temperature is 77 degrees F, which makes it ideal weather for fun in the sun. Given how the wet and dry seasons pan out, you are always better off booking your Caribbean cruise vacation during the calendar’s shoulder seasons, meaning late fall and early spring.

Sometimes it might be an incentive to book and receive onboard credit, or a sale where additional passengers sail for a discount, or a percentage off the total cruise. That would lead to fewer people booking throughout the year; instead they would wait until that one time a year when cruises were cheaper. That’s why there’s not a best time of year to actually buy your cruise. Many last-minute cruise fares (those sold within days from the sail date) have their prices locked. If the price drops after you book, then it can be more difficult to get the difference in cruise fare refunded. Truth is that cruise prices will vary, but tend to hover around the same price point, whether the trip departs next month or next year.

Also, some fares in the summer months can be higher with many families taking vacations. Prices for similar cruises with MSC between June and August range from $649 to $799. The best time to cruise to Europe is between spring break and summer vacation (April/May) and in early fall (September/October).

However, if every cruise line slashed prices last-minute, people would catch on and wait to book their trip. It seems like basic logic that if a cruise were about to set sail with empty rooms, the company would slash prices to get people on the ship. After all, once a room leaves empty, it earns no money for the cruise line. While the lure of last-minute cruise deals tempt people, data actually suggests that it’s a much better idea to book as far in advance as possible. July brings rain to the Eastern Caribbean (including Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands) and August is wet in the Bahamas, Martinique and Dominica.

Aussies generally vacation between late December and January, so expect big crowds and jammed ports during that time. If you dislike large numbers of children, avoid sailing late June through August or during school break times (late December, early January and March through mid-April). If you plan on visiting the Bahamas during the rainy season, you can enjoy indoor activities like shopping in the port or dining at the best restaurants in Nassau. Along with the heat of summer comes the start of the rainy season in the Bahamas.

But that period also has the lowest average temperatures for the Caribbean, especially in the islands lying closest to the United States. But some months are better than others, especially late winter, spring and early summer when temperatures are warm and the risk of rain is low. That said, with our experiences having sailed seemingly every month on the calendar, we have found there are definite advantages and disadvantages to sailing each month of the year.

The Northern Lights are best seen in September (note, though, that they are never guaranteed!). Also, just keep in mind that you should expect the highest cruise fares of the year during this time. As you’ll see below, there are trade-offs with each time of year to sail. However, many of the potential downsides are manageable in our opinion — and shouldn’t deter you from taking a cruise when it fits your schedule and budget.
